the visit

2. The heating consultant visit

Your consultant will call you to let you know they’re on their way. When they get there, they’ll carry out an assessment of your home. They will discuss the boiler and heating options available to you. Then, they’ll calculate a quote for you and talk through your payment options. All this should take about 90 minutes.

installation booking

3. Book your installation

If you’re happy for the company to carry out the work, the heating consultant will arrange an installation date that is suitable for you. Now you just need to wait to hear from the Gas Safe registered engineer who will do the work for you.

4. The boiler installation

The engineer will call you before your installation date to introduce themselves to you. When they come to your property, they will tell you about all the safety precautions you need to be aware of. Then they will begin the installation. Afterwards, the engineer will make sure you understand how to use your new boiler and the controls. They will leave your home clean and tidy, and will take all rubbish with them. They’ll also arrange the removal of your old boiler.

after installation

5. After the installation

The engineer will tell you about any products they can offer you to support your boiler, such as servicing and repairs at a fixed price. They will also tell you about their customer service team and when and how you can contact them.
